Monotypes
Monotype - Often called the painter's form of printmaking. A flat surface is used as a plate to which ink is applied with a brush or other tool. The plate is then run through a press which transfers the image to paper or canvas. Images are usually limited to the monotype print and a ghost print.

Tisa created a number of monotypes similar to this one above during the printing period of her art career. She still has a small collection of monotypes, many of which have never been on display. Most have been seen by only a few people. Her favorite subjects are florals, interiors, sanctuaries, castles and historical sites.
